This product addresses objectives C48 and C49 of the ABLLS-R Curriculum and Assessment. The first half of this product uses buttons in a fun way to sort by color, shape, and number of holes. Ten different sorting jars are provided for C48. The second portion of this product builds receptive language skills by providing practice selecting items with two characteristics. Fourteen different sorting mats are provided with two characteristics each. The materials can be used with real buttons or with the pictures of buttons provided. This product contains a wide variety of practice opportunities for a skill that can be difficult to teach.
These materials can be used as an independent workbox activity or as a part of small group instruction.
All materials are provided in color and black and white versions.
