This product contains 33 “where” questions regarding items in the home. Four formats are provided. The first format is an individual question presentation with a single response picture prompt. This level is great for initial instruction because it provides support for a student just developing intraverbal skills without those hard-to-fade verbal prompts. The second format is an individual question presentation with three pictures, two serving as distractors. The third format presents five questions per page with three answer choices. The final format is simply written question cards without any picture prompts.
Parts 3 and 4 are good for cutting into strips for presentation during discrete trial instruction or in small group lessons. All of these materials can be easily presented on a white board or printed as a book.
Picture prompts are provided for instruction but should be faded as soon as students begin to gain intraverbal skills. Also, while specific pictures are provided, I am not suggesting they are the “correct” responses but only possible appropriate responses to the given questions. Novel, unprompted responses should be reinforced and encouraged.
