For this activity, each student will need a copy of the puzzle and a copy of the student worksheet. Each student will also need access to scissors and glue.
Students should cut out the puzzle pieces.
Students will need to choose a card to start with. I always recommend students start with a corner piece. (Two of the sides of the card will be blank.)
Students will need to factor the polynomial and show all work on another paper.
They will then need to hunt for the completely factored solution. Once found, students should place the answer next to the solution on the worksheet.
Students will continue working until all pieces have been placed and glued.
The letters in the center of each card make it very easy to check! Not all the letters end face up, some are turned sideways or are upside-down.
