Product Description

This is resource that targets identifying and labeling actions! It contains colorful pictures to target verbs receptively and expressively. Each target verb has at at least 2 different pictures depicting that action. This decreases the likelihood of a student being able to just memorize, and increases generalization skills!

There are a total of 84 flashcards. The first 54 flashcards target using individual action words. The following individual actions are targeted in this product: running, jumping, swinging, coloring, eating, drinking, hugging, sleeping, sitting, laughing, reading, crying, flying, driving, swimming, cooking, climbing, dancing, crawling, writing, typing, playing, cleaning, walking, waving, pouring.

The next 30 flashcards target using noun + verb combinations to describe actions. Each verb is used at least twice with a different object, which helps facilitate generalization skills. For example: "Smelling flower" and "Smelling bread" are each depicted on cards.

Objective 1: The student will identify pictures of common actions.

Objective 2: The student will label pictures of common actions.

Objective 3: The student will use two component labels (Noun + Verb) combinations to describe pictures of actions.
