For this activity, have students listen to two songs each day and vote on the one that they like the best. The one that wins continues up the bracket, while the other is eliminated. Provide them with the lyrics and have them follow along as they listen. This is a great bell ringer activity and can be edited to include a variety of songs. Some suggestions include creating a bracket of cultural songs, songs of different genres (bachata, reggaeton, salsa), and songs that correspond with a particular vocabulary/grammar unit. (for example, ¿Puedo ir al bano? by Señor Wooly or the "ser" song)
