This interactive adapted book introduces strategies students can use to help calm down when upset or frustrated. These simple calming strategies can be used in PreK-2, Special Education, and ELL classrooms. i
Calming strategies include: stress ball, wall push-ups, taking a break, going for a walk, listening to music, deep breathing, yoga, read a book, jumping jacks, and drink of water.
The motivating illustrations and controlled picture supported sight word vocabulary will engage even the earliest readers. Pictures are attached to a flip-out picture bank. Students complete the sentence frames on each page by attaching the corresponding picture throughout the book.
