It is estimated that nearly 6.4 million youth are diagnosed with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). This means that ADHD touches nearly 1 in 9 of our youth! If a child you know has recently received this diagnosis, this one-hour webinar will give you some practical strategies in how to help teach skills that will assist in reaching their goals. We will also spend time looking at common treatment methods for ADHD to help you understand how to best support your child! 

Elizabeth Avery has a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate. Elizabeth is passionate about utilizing a strengths-based approach through a trauma-informed lens when working therapeutically with youth. Over the years, she has worked with the children and adolescents with a wide variety of mental health diagnoses in traditional therapeutic settings, schools, and within the juvenile justice system. Currently, Elizabeth is devoted to developing mental health programs within school systems in order to increase access to care and decrease stigma.
