The activities are set out in gradual sequential order, so students can learn to add one step at a time, from adding on one, then one and another one, then two, three, four, five, six and seven, using the adding on strategy.
The activities focus on adding one-digit numbers to two-digit numbers and two-digit numbers to two-digit numbers and adding on ones to multiples of tens.
Both vertical and horizontal forms of addition are used to reinforce the concept of place value.
Helpful addition strategies are included.
The use of 24 questions (problems) on each page makes the program compatible with the LUK self checking system.
