Since you and your friends have been working so hard to learn your letters and how to read, your parents have decided to award you with a donut party! But, they called the donut shop ahead of time and made a special arrangement ... instead of paying for each treat in cash, you’ll have to read three words for each donut.
Each player should pick a donut menu and begin at the shop. Players must make their way to stuffing their face by rolling the dice. On each space a player lands, he/she must pick a game card and read all three words, and write one of them in order to pick a donut from the menu. If a player lands on a bonus rectangle he/she may earn the number of treats pictured if he/she reads and writes all three words on the game card. The player to earn the most donuts wins!
This donut game is sure to have your students excited to practice about -AN word family reading. Each game card has three words allowing student plenty of practice reading various -AN words. In addition, students will writing -AN words and mastering -AN spelling.
