Complete instructions, illustrations, and original photos of the Terra Cotta Warriors at their dig site are included.
Terra Cotta Warriors—Students learn little-known facts about Qin Shihuangdi and create their own army out of clay.
Paper Fans—Students design Chinese motifs and paint their own fans.
Yin-Yang—Students learn the meaning of the mysterious symbol and express their own feelings and aspirations in terms of good and bad as they produce posters.
The Wisdom of Confucius—Students listen to a sampling of The Wisdom of Confucius and apply the concepts to modern-day situations.
The Great Wall Street Journal—Students have an opportunity to compare and contrast Confucius with Emperor Qin and produce their own news article.
