This wonderful hands-on activity has been designed to engage students in celebrating ANZAC Day as well as the skills of procedural writing. Students will produce a procedural text by either cutting, sorting and pasting or writing out the procedure on their own depending on the level of your students. Colourful visual aides have been provided to assist you as a teacher while conducting this activity. These aides help keep students on track and understanding what they have to do. Please see the preview for a visual description of how these aides and worksheets are to be used.
A very brief history of the ANZAC biscuit, explaining how the biscuit came to be, is also included as a bonus in this activity pack.
