Why is it important to remember?
Why is it important to remember Anzac Day.
Students write/draw 4 reasons why we remember on Anzac Day.
I get my students to draw pictures in the poppy and then write about it on the writing template.
Or you may like to enlarge the poppy to A3 and draw and teacher scribes in the poppy or the student can write directly into each petal of the poppy
ANZAC Day writing prompt
Use this writing prompt with your students this ANZAC Day. Have them complete the sentence 'On ANZAC Day'... They may end it with why we celebrate ANZAC Day or what they do on ANZAC Day.
They can the draw the face of a soldier under the hat, or for total cuteness factor a photo of each student could be added, turning them into a soldier.
Little poppy poem
Use this poem on an ANZAC Day display or I like to attach the little tag to the poppies my kids make and wear as a badge. Or attach the little tag to an Anzac Day piece of work or craft. Use the poppy craft template.
There is an A4 poem template and 3 different tag ones to choose from.
