This AP Biology resource is a 2-part worksheet reviewing learning objective 2.10 which asks students to solve problems quantitatively to investigate movement of molecules across the cell membrane. The first part of the worksheet is a video note taking guide to accompany Bozeman's Biology's "Water Potential" video. The second part of the worksheet is a problem about a cell in solution. Students are asked to indicate which solutes move in and out of the cell, which way water will move, and the water potential of the cell. Watching the video and then working the water potential problem should take approximately 20 minutes. Part 2 (problem solving) could easily be used as an exit ticket or assessment. Answer keys are provided.
