This slide presentation has 17 problems (15 algebraic limits and 2 graphical limits) allowing students to practice solving limits. Students need to know how to solve limits by...
1) Direct Substitution
4) Finding the LCD
5) Using their calculator window and tables
6) Showing sided limits
7) Given a graph
L'Hopital's Rule "doesn't apply" at this stage. Students will learn that process later in the school year, so for now, they need to know how to solve these with the algebra techniques listed above.
There is a slide for students to upload an image of their work so that I can view their limit notation and make sure things are being written properly. I assign these slides (as a google slide) to each of my students through Google Classroom by making a copy for each student. Google classroom does this automatically - which allows me viewing access during class so I can see who is working. You can also assign this as a group assignment through Google Classroom as well.
Powerpoint slide presentation that students can edit and type their answers in. This presentation should help the students identify which problems require which technique.
This took my students about 75-90 minutes to complete.
