This lesson is a review of the basic properties of functions with special attention given to those properties that are most relevant for calculus.

This can either be used as part of a summer assignment to help students get ready for calculus or it can be used as a review at the beginning of the school year. It could also be used as part of an "Introduction to Calculus" unit at the end of a precalculus course.
