This is a single 2-page worksheet covering Hess's Law.Students will calculate enthalpy of reaction in two ways: 1) by rearranging chemicals with known enthalpies of reaction to determine the enthalpy of another reaction, and 2) by using enthalpies of formation from a table. A QR code linking enthalpy data is included for convenience. As a bonus, a full thermodynamic data table is included at the end of this document.
Answer key is included.
The download includes a handout master (.pdf) that includes one worksheet, answer key, and table of selected thermochemical data (ΔH, ΔG, and S)
While designed specifically for AP Chemistry, this product is also useful for any level of chemistry that covers Hess's Law (honors, IB, college).
