This is a review guide for bonding. It includes a 17-page summary of some of the most important topics in bonding (with examples), and is followed by 10 multiple choice problems and 1 free response problems. There is an answer key in the back, and the free response answers are fully explained.
Everything is aligned with the new AP Chemistry standards. This guide would be a great review to hand out at the end of your kinetics unit, or it could be used as part of your end-of-year review immediately prior to the AP test.
In the past I have relied on third-party review guides when reviewing with my students for the AP test. I find that most of the guides are not tightly aligned with the new AP standards and often contain extraneous/incorrect information. I have attempted to make a review guide that is tightly aligned with what students should expect to see on the AP test.

The guide covers the following topics:
Ionic, covalent, metallic, and covalent network compounds
Melting point, boiling point, equilibrium vapor pressure . . . etc.
The guide assumes that students can draw basic Lewis electron-dot structures. The review problem set includes molecular geometry and hybridization problems, but the review guide does not discuss those topics. These topics can be easily referenced in almost any chemistry textbook. The review guide also does not cover formal charge.
