It covers various topics including: naming alkanes, alkenes, alkynes, various functional groups including: carboxylic acids, aldehydes, ethers, esters, ketones as well as others. Special topics also include isomerism including cis- and trans- as well as aromatics. Animations and step-by-step examples are embedded within the power point to make sure your students are following each major concept in this unit. Fully editable! (Follows most closely with Zumdahl's textbook - 8th edition; however, it is suitable for use for any AP chemistry course.) Topics discussed are listed on the preview slide.
