I used this as a semester 1 final project, but it could easily be adapted for other times or uses depending on your syllabus.
This is a project that is more useful in areas with drought. It was written specifically for Southern California; but again, it could easily be adapted. Students choose between two types of products that they will use to research and show knowledge about drought's effects on human health, ecosystems, and economics.
The full file contains a Day 1 handout, a project proposal sheet, and handouts wth requirements checklists and rubrics individualized to each project choice.
Both project choices include a civic engagement component.
