In this Jeopardy review game, students will be answering questions on various topics and themes within the AP European History course: Thirty Years' War, Popes, Ruthless Dictators, Historic Facial Hair, and Religion Potpourri. In the "Thirty Years' War" category, students will answer questions that deal with the political, military and social aspects of the Thirty Years' War and the political and religious impact of the war on Europe. In the "Popes" category, students will review famous popes and policies that were passed either during their time in office and/or throughout Roman Catholic Church history. In "Ruthless Dictators" category, students will answer questions on infamous dictators that ruled in Europe in the 20th century. In "Historic Facial Hair", students will be shown pictures of famous European people who had either mustaches, beards or goatees in European history. To help them in answering these questions, students will be given a picture of the individual and a clue as to what they were famous for in the time period that they lived. In the final category, "Religion Potpourri", students will answer questions that deal with all aspects of religious history in European history: from religious leaders to religious doctrines and ideas. It's a really good and exciting way for students to remember important themes, concepts and ideas within the AP European History course!
