This exam is used as a test for Units 1 and 2 which fall under Period 1 (1450-1648) within the AP European History curriculum. Units 1 and 2 include the following topics: End of Feudalism, the Renaissance, the Reformation, and New Monarchies.
The exam is designed according to the redesigned AP European History Exam. It includes 30 stimulus-based multiple choice questions, 15 matching questions to assess necessary vocabulary, and 5 stimulus-based short answer questions (of which students are asked to respond to 3). This exam was given over two 45 minute class periods but could be given in 90 minutes under a block schedule.

This is the first of 7 tests total covering the entire AP European History curriculum with the exception of Unit 8, the French Revolution and Age of Napoleon which are included on the course midterm exam.
