PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

In this lesson, students, working in pairs, will learn about the perception of women in the eyes of Protestant leaders during the 16th and 17th centuries through the analysis of four primary source works. By the end of the lesson, despite a break from the Roman Catholic Church, certain Protestant sects prevented women from taking an active role in society, while other sects allowed them to be participants.
