PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

In this two-day “Museum Gallery Walk-through Analysis” lesson, students will analyze the political cartoons that illustrate the era being studied. They will be able to identify the motives for European and American imperialistic expansionism in the late 19th century and early 20th century. To aid them in their analysis, students will complete the chart handouts below that are associated with the various art pieces. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to determine the motives for European and American imperialistic tendencies at the turn of the century.
