In this lesson, students, analyzing primary sources on the Munich Conference, will examine how the meeting was perceived in art and in statements. From this lesson, students will understand that there are various ways to avert war. Appeasing an enemy, however, is at most a short-term success. Giving into the demands of ambitious individuals will only drive them to gain further power.
