Product Description

A reading and visual analysis activity that can supplement a reading of Born a Crime by Trevor Noah. The activity is organized around political geography and South Africa but includes: land-use patterns, economic geography, migration, economic geography, and cultural geography.

Students are asked to analyze political geography and related geographic perspectives.

Students read an overview of Apartheid and answer questions.

Students analyze visuals using the overarching APHG questions (What is it? Where is it? Why is it there? So what?

Three FRQs are provided (no stimulus, 1 stimulus, and 2 stimulus). The FRQs do not require a reading of Born a Crime.
