Product Description
This zipped bundle includes both Literary Terms Task Cards and Literary Terms Quizzes to review 44 notable literary terms for an AP Language and Composition course. Both of these products are also included in my AP Language and Composition Bundle for a reduced price. Please don’t buy this smaller bundle in addition to the larger AP bundle as it is already included.

Students can use these tools to review, to build confidence and awareness leading up to the AP test and/or to practice writing with varied stylistic techniques. The cards may be used as bell-ringers, as early-finisher activities, as a group activity or as individual work.

Includes:
* 80 task cards (44 cards provide examples of a term that students identify and 36 cards provide sentence-length writing activities for most of the same terms)
* two response sheets for task cards (one with a word bank of literary terms and one without)
* a teacher key for task cards
* three matching quizzes that cover diction/syntax, figurative language and logical fallacies/appeals/rhetorical modes (alternatively, I also included a quiz that complies all three sets of terms)
* a teacher key for the quizzes
* a handout with all the words defined

The diction/syntax terms include:
alliteration, anaphora, assonance, asyndeton, inversion, cacophonous language, colloquial language, connotative diction, consonance, denotative diction, euphonious language, and parallelism

The figurative language terms include:
allusion, antithesis, apostrophe, euphemism, hyperbole, imagery, irony, litotes, metaphor, oxymoron, paradox, personification, simile, and synecdoche

The logical fallacies/appeals/rhetorical modes terms include:
ad hominem, ad populum, altruism, begging the question, cause/effect, compare/contrast, definition, description, division, ethos, false dilemma, generalization, logos, narration, pathos, and persuasion
