PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Diversify your AP Language course by introducing students to nonfiction in the news.

"Monday Matters" are a series of topics for students to blog about. Included are a general introduction to informed citizenship, instructions on how to set up a google blogger account, and 36 unique blog topics that are thematically focused.

This project is a great alternative assessment that helps students broaden their horizons and stay current on events in the news from sites that students select. It allows for student choice and development of student voice while learning how to analyze nonfiction. Ultimately, this project can be a reoccuring assignment all year!
