In this expansive resource, I’ve compiled my units for three texts: The Crucible, The Things They Carried, and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. In addition, I’ve added my embedding quotes, assertions, and thesis stems resource and my literature circles assignments and activities for The Great Gatsby.
In the bundles for The Crucible, The Things They Carried, and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, I’ve provided reading questions for each reading section, quote analysis activities, annotations activities, thesis and diction exercises, tools for rhetorical analysis, pre-reading assignments, and more text-specific activities and projects. I’ve constructed each unit with AP Lang in mind, so students read each text through a rhetorical analysis mindset.
If you have any questions, feel free to use the Q&A function. I’m happy to answer any questions.
