Description
In accordance with the new AP® Lit course description and standards, this skill test focuses on individual analytical skills required for poetry appearing on the AP® Lit exam. This test, studying AP® Lit skill STR 3.D and focusing on Lucille Clifton's "Mulberry Fields," asks all of the corresponding questions included in the new CED in order to foster close reading and deep analytical skills. This resource contains two versions, a short answer version and a multiple choice version. A detailed answer key is provided to assist in analysis and teacher prep.
Please note, these questions do not model the AP English Literature 5-option style multiple choice questions.
The open-ended questions can be printed and used in the classroom, posted as a digital file, or assigned through Google Classroom as an interactive Google Slide. The multiple choice questions can be assigned on paper, assigned through Google Classroom as a Google Form, or pasted into another LMS platform.
