This project requires students to read and annotate a short story and use it to complete a PROSE PASSAGE ESSAY assignment. It includes a presentation element. It is an assignment that is best used after students are familiar with the Prose Passage Essay section of the AP Test. It is a culminating assignment not an introductory assignment. I have found this activity to be very successful with my own students.
The rubric I use to grade the project is included, but the stories themselves are not.
