FIVE meaningful cooperative learning activities for AP Music Theory class!
Quizuoso will have students working in groups of 3-4, reviewing essential knowledge as each student alternates playing the "Quizuoso Quizmaster" host. Game play will work best with a set of dry erase boards and markers, or you can use lots of paper for students to write their answers as well. Game cards can be adapted to other cooperative learning activities as well!
- Key signatures
- Scale degree nomenclature
- Seventh chords in inversion
- Form and compositional techniques
This interactive setting facilitates peer checking, coaching, remediation, and encouraging. These are easy activities for teachers to implement, even if you’ve never attended any cooperative learning PD. Use these activities as warm-ups, classwork, closure activities, or for sub plans.
Over 140 2.5"x3.25" game cards! (Cards print on 16 letter size sheets of cardstock.) Answers are printed on the bottom of each card. Thorough instructions are included.
