In this lab, A.P. Psychology students in the Research and Statistics unit will use two plain snack size M&M packets to calculate the mean, median, and mode for each color (you should provide the M&M's). Students will then retrieve the M&M color breakdown of four other groups and then calculate the mean, median, and modes. Finally, students will then compare their results to the Mars color statistical breakdown that can be found on the lab and calculate the difference between their results and the Mars Company results. This lab will allow students to further enhance their understanding and application of statistics in a more interactive and fun way!
