Are your administrators asking you to be more project based and do less lectures? This is the lesson for you!
Students research a common problem with one of the (5) senses and then create a storyboard for an App design incorporating known or innovative technology to allow a doctor to diagnose patients in the office using their "app". This real-world application of psychological research allows students to look at common sensory problems and their diagnosis in creative and unique ways and provides practice in an actual use of a psychology degree! Use the included rubric to grade presentations and products simultaneously.
All products are in Word - enabling you to make changes as needed to fit your class.
This lesson is aligned with AP Psychology standards for the Sensation & Perception unit but would work well in any High School psychology class.
