This TED Talk worksheet is to be used with Brene Brown's 20 minute TED Talk on The Power of Vulnerability. This is an excellent talk to use when discussing the Motivation and Emotion Unit. She touches on our love/belonging needs and also looks at how we are not able to numb our feelings. This activity should take about 30-35 minutes if you add in discussion/debrief time at the end of the video. This could also be assigned for a homework assignment.
This assignment could also be used in a Health or Life Skills class if one is completing an assignment on mental health.
