This worksheet is designed to go along with the movie, The Martian. I use this in my regular Psychology class during the semester and I use it with AP Psych after their exam. It is a great way to review some of their terms and make connections to how often we see the theme of survival in film. Obviously, the book/film is fiction but students enjoy it and do a great job at connecting some of the big themes from the motivation unit.
The film time is just under 2.5 hours and we tend to debrief and discuss the themes afterwards. This lesson would require about 3 hours of time.
DEAL ALERT- This movie is also available in an AP Psychology Movie Bundle
You get 5 movie guides for one great price!
