This 15-minute TED Talk is a wonderful way to look at what helps us be creative and how we should continually be trying to think up new ideas. I loved this quote from his talk, "The greatest originals are the ones who fail the most, because they're the ones who try the most," Grant says. "You need a lot of bad ideas in order to get a few good ones." Failure is not a bad thing.
This lesson would be great for the AP Psych Unit 7- Memory and Problem Solving Unit or it could be used in a Life Skills/Motivation lesson. I am actually using this talk in my Gifted and Talented Seminar group to help encourage them in their creativity.
There are 15 questions and I have included a key for your convenience.
