This is the fifth lesson in the Descriptive Statistics Unit. Students will be exposed to key vocabulary. They will locate and interpret the percentile of an individual in a distribution. They will use a cumulative relative frequency graph to estimate percentiles of an individual. They will calculate and Interpret the standardized score (z-score) of an observation in a distribution of data. This lesson come in the form of student guided notes with key. These lesson are set up to have the teacher lead the students through the note-taking process while incorporating examples for the students to try. The answer keys are provided. Homework will be added shortly at not additional cost to those who purchase before. I will also be making videos that take the student through the lesson for those that flip their classroom or for absent students. SMART notebook files are included for the teacher to fill in with the class.
