This is the second lesson in the Descriptive Statistics Unit. Students will graph quantitative data with dotplots, stemplots, and histograms. They will be introduced to analyzing the graphs by determining shape, center, spread, and potential outliers. This will go into detail in the classwork/homework. They will compare distributions using visual displays of data in the classwork as well. These lesson are set up to have the teacher lead the students through the note-taking process while incorporating examples for the students to try. The answer keys are provided with the pages numbered. Homework will be added shortly at not additional cost to those who purchase before. I will also be making videos that take the student through the lesson for those that flip their classroom or for absent students. SMART notebook files are included for the teacher to fill in with the class.
