This is the 13th lesson in the Descriptive Statistics Unit. . In this lesson students will determine if a linear model is a good fit for the data, calculate and interpret r^2, interpret a computer regression output, calculate and interpret S, and use the mean of y and x to find the LSRL. These lessons are set up to have the teacher lead the students through the note-taking process while incorporating examples for the students to try. The answer keys are provided. Homework will be added shortly at not additional cost to those who purchase before. I will also be making videos that take the student through the lesson for those that flip their classroom or for absent students. SMART notebook files are included for the teacher to fill in with the class.
