This is the 12th lesson in the Descriptive Statistics Unit. The students will be exposed to key vocabulary terms. This lesson continues with the analysis of shoe size and height. Students will make a scatterplot with technology and a regression line, interpret the slope and y-intercept of a LSRL, use the LSRL to predict y for a given x, and calculate and interpret residuals. These lessons are set up to have the teacher lead the students through the note-taking process while incorporating examples for the students to try. The answer keys are provided. Homework will be added shortly at not additional cost to those who purchase before. I will also be making videos that take the student through the lesson for those that flip their classroom or for absent students. SMART notebook files are included for the teacher to fill in with the class.
