This is the fourth lesson in the Descriptive Statistics Unit. In this lesson students will use technology to create histograms and boxplots for a set of data. They will determine the appropriate measures of center and spread by addressing the shape of the distribution. They will compare distributions. These lessons are set up to have the teacher lead the students through the note-taking process while incorporating examples for the students to try. The answer keys are provided with the pages numbered. Homework will be added shortly at not additional cost to those who purchase before. I will also be making videos that take the student through the lesson for those that flip their classroom or for absent students. SMART notebook files are included for the teacher to fill in with the class.
