This is the first part of this activity. Students will gather data on themselves to then analyze. They will measure their height, armspan, and handspan to investigate a hypotheses that 1) the length of a man's outstretched arms is equal to his height and 2) the length of a man's hand is one tenth of his height.
I've used this product in both my AP Statistics and Statistics classes. I usually have enough time to do this and begin the analysis on the same day (50 minute class periods) and then finish the analysis in class the next day.
