This is one of 7 review worksheets that I have my students do in the weeks before the AP exam. (I organized the subcategories together into groups that I believe make sense together.) They then become study guides. The purpose is to organize their ideas on the themes from what they've learned during the year/in past years. They have to look back at notes or do some further research.
It involves creating a vocabulary list (with advanced vocabulary/words that they don't remember or ones that they know could show up/they would want to use), creating a list of historical facts/events that relate to the topic, and creating a list of possible cultural comparisons that could be made. I give an example of each.
