PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

In this lesson, students, working in groups, will analyze why various labor strikes occurred and how the government responded to these crises. They will examine secondary readings and present their findings to the rest of the class. By the end of the lesson, students will realize that the government supported the businesses over the employee with the enforcement of federal laws and military force.

(Note: This lesson can be applied to a non-AP class as well.)
