PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

In this lesson, students, reading excerpts from President Wilson and Senator Lodge (among others) will examine the growing division between the President and Congress over the terms within the Treaty of Versailles. Through this reading students will examine why the Senate rejected the Treaty of Versailles and the overall impact that such a decision had on United States and world history. A T-chart has been provided to aid the students in their analysis. They will then interpret two maps – 1914 Europe and 1919-1920 Europe – and the overall changes that occurred from prior to the war and in the aftermath of the Treaty of Versailles.
