PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Students will be analyzing several primary sources that describe the discord that occurred between the Soviet Union and the West. The students will be able to discuss the agreements made at Yalta and Potsdam regarding the nature of the postwar world. They will be able to explain the differences that emerged regarding those agreements in the months following the end of the war in Europe. They will also be able to assess the strategic options available to the both the United States and the Soviet Union in 1946.
