Preparing for the AP US History exam requires that students be able to make geographic connections to thematic course content. This lesson is designed to practice historical thinking skills while reviewing and making connections with content and geography. This mapping assignment serves as an overview for geographic study of the United States while helping students to review pertinent content from Period 4 (1800-1848) and Period 5 (1844-1877).
