This is a sample of a review game I created recently. After I've divided my class into groups of 3-4, I then read off the description clues one at a time, and the first group to all raise their hands (and after I call on them) can give an answer. They can get 3 points for a correct answer or lose 2 points for an incorrect one. Most of the time the students learn to be patient and wait for at least 3 clues before guessing. One thing I learned is that you may need to ask them to be more specific with their answers, but you can be the judge how you want. I've spent whole class periods with this or it can be done to begin or end a class. So far, my students love playing this and it does a good job helping them review.
I've made this sample available for you to download for free and if you like it, see my other 3 pages I've created for this game. Enjoy and let me hear how it goes.... firstname.lastname@example.org
