This game gives a fun twist to AP US History vocabulary review. It is based on vocabulary definitions from The American Pageant, 13th edition, by Kennedy, Cohen, and Bailey. Definitions are taken from The American Pageant, course-notes.org, and https://mrssciorilli.wikispaces.com/file/view/AP+US+Study+Guide+and+Review.pdf
Try to guess the vocabulary term that sounds like the words on the screen put together.
Ex. You read: “These If Hill Wore” and guess: “The Civil War”
Whichever team shouts out the correct term first receives 1 point.
That team may then present a definition for the term. If they give an acceptable definition, they receive 2 more points.
If they do not provide an acceptable definition, another team can give the definition. If theirs is correct, they receive 2 points.
Difficulty ranges randomly from very easy to very difficult! If no one answers in the first 2 minutes, the MadGabs point is forfeited and all teams can write down a definition for consideration. In these cases, all teams have the potential to win 2 points for their definitions.
