This 21-slide power point is an overview of the period of Classical China (c. 500 BCE - 500 CE) and was created to align with the AP World History Curriculum Framework. However, the notes could easily be used in any traditional World History course since the presentation is fairly broad in the scope of what it covers. The notes are designed as a "guided notes" set where students will complete a skeleton-outline from the materials on the slides as the teachers lectures. The skeleton outline is sold separately on TPT and can be found under the title "AP World History Classical China Notes Student Outline".
Specific topics covered in the presentation include:
- Mandate of Heaven and Zhou Dynasty
- Dynastic Cycle
- Period of the Warring States
- Confucianism, Daoism, and Legalism
- Qin Dynasty
- Han Dynasty
